The Grass is Greener on the Other Side

Green GrassFor most of us life is hard and many times seems to drag on day to day, doing the same menial tasks day after day.  For me nothing could be more true, working hard, making and spending the same money, eating the same old food.  I find myself thinking a lot about how my life could have been different what would I change if I could go back and fix all of the mistakes I have made.

I know I cannot go back and change the mistakes I have made big or small, but I wish I could.  I wonder why I am not as successful as I could be, or how strong a leader I could have been had I listened to him more clearly.  I do not mind where I am now, but I have this sense that things could be so much better.  How can I make things better?

God has been continually reminding me of the young David, who was basically forgotten by his family out in the fields.  But God knew he was still there!  A lot of you reading this post may feel the same way I do, but God has never forgotten you!  He still sees you there praying, worshiping, and crying,  when the world has forgotten you!  He will send for you when he needs you!  You will be ready because you trusted him!

Psalm 103
